Christian has built a diverse career at the forefront of multi-disciplinary innovation, drawing on expertise from a range of fields to deliver impactful solutions. For the past five years at the Compound Semiconductor Applications Catapult, he has played a key role within cross-functional teams to scope, specify, and deliver next-generation applications across quantum technologies, power electronics, RF, and photonic engineering. His work spans both research and product development, with a strong focus on integrating ideas and capabilities from different domains to accelerate innovation into a deployable format. Working with the Catapult’s network of partners enable Christian and the teams he works with to help drive advances in sectors such as transport, energy, telecoms, and intelligent sensing, contributing to the UK’s leadership in Compound Semiconductor Applications
