Dr. Nikolaos Katsikis

Dr. Nikolaos Katsikis is CTO at Kyocera Fineceramics Europe GmbH in Selb, Germany. His team is responsible for new material and process developments. In the last years, the focus has been on large monolithic SiSiC structural components up to 1.3 m in size as well as high strength Silicon Nitride material for ceramic parts and sheets as thin as 100 µm. Additive Manufacturing AM is also a key development activity, and this year, Kyocera has launched SiSiC produced via powder based binder jetting. Dr. Nikolaos Katsikis holds several patents and publications in the field of AM.
