Dr. Jakob Zeitler

Jakob Zeitler is Head of R&D at Matterhorn Studio, providing “Peer-reviewed Plug-in Bayesian Optimisation for Your Self-driving Laboratory”. An Affiliate Member with Canada’s 300 million CAD funded Accelerate Consortium, he is driving forward the Machine Learning aspects of Self-driving laboratories in the UK and beyond. In his PhD at UCL’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence, he has researched efficient experimentation, yielding both a paper and two patents with Spotify Research as well as the 1st place in the G-Research Thesis Competition.
