Dr. Hannah Buckland

Dr Hannah Buckland is an Applications Specialist in Physical Characterization at Malvern Panalytical, based in Malvern, UK.  She holds a PhD in volcanology from the University of Bristol, where she developed a strong foundation in particle science while gaining experience with a range of materials characterization techniques, including particle size and shape analysis, plus advanced chemical and microstructural methods. Since joining Malvern Panalytical in 2023, she has built extensive applications expertise across advanced materials across advanced materials—including batteries, ceramics, additive manufacturing, pigments, and coatings—as well as pharmaceuticals. Hannah supports customers through proof‑of‑principle studies, demonstrations, instrument training, and technical support.
